Former governor of Osun State and immediate past Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was yesterday suspended from the party following allegations of anti-party activities.

This was made known by the State Chairman of the party, Alhaji Tajudeen Lawal in a statement made available to newsmen in Osogbo yesterday.

According to the Statement, “the State Executive Committee ,SEC, has constituted a Disciplinary Committee to investigate the allegations, which include the creation of splinter groups, parallel organs, working with opposition parties, public outbursts against party leaders, refusal to support party activities, and refusal to vote for the party since the 2019 general elections.

“The committee will report its findings and recommendations to the SEC within 14 days”.

Efforts to get reactions from the Media Aide to Ogbeni Aregbesola, Sola Fasure was fruitless as he did not picked our Correspondent’s calls as of the time of filling this report.
