The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), has described Bola Ahmed Tinubu as an uncommon reformer whose leadership has placed Nigeria firmly on the path of economic recovery and national renewal.
In a goodwill message marking the President’s 74th birthday, signed by Kamarudeen Ogundele, special Assistant to the president on communication and publicity in the office of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, on Sunday, Fagbemi said the nation is fortunate to have a leader of Tinubu’s calibre at a critical period in its history, noting that his bold reforms and policy direction are laying the groundwork for a more stable and prosperous future.
The message, titled “Happy 74th Birthday to an Uncommon Reformer, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR,” highlighted the administration’s sweeping efforts across key sectors, particularly the justice system, where the minister said significant strides have been recorded.
Fagbemi praised the President’s “indefatigable spirit” and unwavering commitment to national development, stating that his leadership has continued to inspire confidence among Nigerians. He noted that Tinubu’s journey from grassroots politics to the highest office in the land stands as a powerful testament to perseverance, vision and determination.
According to the minister, the administration’s focus on infrastructure development, improved security architecture and economic reforms has begun to reposition the country for sustainable growth. He added that these efforts, anchored on the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda, have rekindled optimism among citizens and reinforced belief in Nigeria’s potential.
“Your leadership style, marked by resilience, courage and foresight, has earned you respect across the nation,” Fagbemi stated, adding that the President has remained faithful to the promises made to Nigerians.
He further described the President’s legacy as one that would endure for generations, inspiring young Nigerians to strive for excellence and public service.
