The former Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Haj. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has expressed profound grief over the passing of her royal father, His Royal Highness, Mallam Muhammad Sani Alhassan, the Agankyu of Kakanda Kingdom.
Aliyu described the demise as a loss that leaves a heavy silence in the hearts of the family and the people of Kakanda Kingdom. She described the monarch’s leadership as one marked by service, noting his efforts to guide the kingdom with fairness.
The former minister who is also the Sarauniyan Kakanda, said the late king’s legacy was evident in the unity and enabled among his people, adding that his influence would continue to be remembered across generations.
“I mourn the passing of my royal father, His Royal Highness, Mallam Muhammad Sani Alhassan, the Agankyu of Kakanda Kingdom. His transition has left a silence that is heavy on our hearts and a void that cannot easily be filled.
“Our royal father lived a life marked by wisdom, dignity and service. He carried the weight of leadership with grace and guided the Kakanda Kingdom with clarity and fairness. His legacy stands firmly in the progress he championed and the unity he nurtured among our people,” Aliyu added.
She extended her condolences to the royal family, the council of chiefs and the entire Kakanda Kingdom, praying for collective strength and comfort for all affected by the loss.
“To me, this loss is both personal and communal. I grieve not only as a daughter of the palace but as a witness to his undying commitment to the wellbeing of our people. His counsel shaped many of us and his influence will continue to echo across generations.”
“May Allah grant us collective strength to bear this loss and may He comfort every heart touched by this passing,” the former minister added.
