Management of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps,led by the DG,Rt.Hon.Yusuf Buba Yakub, Wednesday, began a winding down and fine-tuning process for the deployment of a new set of Volunteers to St.Kitts and Nevis,following the directive made by President Tinubu during a State visit to St.Lucia earlier in the year.
During a virtual meeting held with the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of St.Kitts and Nevis, alongside officials of the Ministries of Education and Health,the NTAC boss received briefings from the officials in the bid to fine-tune the planned deployment of Volunteers to the country in the coming weeks.
The meeting,which was facilitated by the Charge’ d’Affaires of the Nigerian Mission in Havana,Cuba,Amb. Sarah Isong,also had in attendance the Director of Programmes of NTAC,Amb.Zakari Usman and other officials of the Agency.
With the just-concluded bilateral engagement between NTAC and the officials of the country all areas of concern preceding the planned deployment have been comprehensively addressed.
