Federal government has reaffirmed its dedication to enhance healthcare delivery nationwide, aligning with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin made this known Sunday when he inspected some ongoing health projects at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano.
He said the intervention includes Cardio-Cerebral and Pediatric Centres, as well as hostels for nursing students, expected to boost bed space and enhance service delivery.
“The initiatives align with President Tinubu’s vision for a revitalised healthcare sector,” he stated.
Jibrin said with experienced medical students and modern health facilities, Nigeria can achieve subsisting national healthcare goals.
The hospital’s Chief Medical Director, Professor Abdulrahman Sheshe, expressed gratitude for the intervention.
He said the intervention would facilitate effective healthcare delivery in the state, North-West and Nigeria in general.
He also said that the facilities are on track, expressing confidence that they would be completed and inaugurated as scheduled.
