Delta State governor, Sheriff Oborevwori has lauded Value Rebirth Centre Leadership School for its consistent role in raising a new generation of visionary leaders through quality leadership training.
Speaking through the Commissioner for Higher Education, Professor Nyerhovwo Tonukari, at the eighth annual lecture and graduation ceremony of the institution in Warri, Oborevwori described the school as a veritable hub for nurturing leaders of tomorrow.
“This occasion is a testament to the hard work and dedication of students, lecturers and parents,” he said, urging the graduands to remember that leadership is defined by character, vision and the ability to inspire and influence others.
“True leaders are not just born; they are made through dedication, hard work and a willingness to learn. The knowledge and values that you have gained here will serve as a strong foundation for your future,” he stated.
The governor also commended the management and staff for their tireless efforts in building capacity for national development, saying their contribution would make a lasting impact.
Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to educational excellence, Oborevwori noted that investing in education is a strategic investment in the state’s future, pledging continued support for institutions and programmes that promote leadership, innovation and societal transformation.
The event, with the theme on rebirth and renewal, brought together distinguished guests, parents and community leaders to celebrate the graduating class and highlight the continuous journey of personal and leadership growth.
