Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, Edo State branch has congratulated Professor Idia Ize-Iyamu on her appointment as the Chief Medical Director, CMD, of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, UBTH.
A statement issued at the weekend by its Chairman, Dr Eustace Oseghale, hailed Professor Ize-Iyamu’s emergence as the first female CMD of UBTH as reflecting her exceptional dedication, exemplary leadership and steadfast commitment to advance healthcare.
According to Oseghale, her extensive work, clinical acumen, compassionate approach to patient care and proven leadership have inspired many and set a high standard within our community.
Expressing confidence in her ability to leverage her experience, vision and leadership skills to drive further growth and development at the hospital, the state NMA chairman praised her record of achievements in various leadership roles.
The NMA also pledged its support, wishing her a successful and impactful tenure.
