Sokoto Govt Supports Students With WAEC, NECO, NABTEB Fees

Sokoto Governor Aliyu

From Ibrahim Goronyo, Sokoto

Sokoto State government, under the leadership of Governor Ahmad Aliyu, has provided support to final year secondary school students by settling their West African Examination, WAEC, National Examination Council, NECO, and  National Business and Technical Examinations Board, NABTEB, examination fees for this year.

This initiative applies to indigenes and non-indigenes residing in the state, to reduce the financial burden on parents and guardians.

The move underscores government’s commitment to promote educational development in the state.

Parents and school administrators are encouraged to take full advantage of this opportunity and ensure that final year students sit for the three examinations.

A dedicated team from the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education will oversee the examination process to ensure compliance and proper conduct.

Government urged stakeholders to support this initiative by ensuring that eligible students sit for their examinations without hindrance.
