Edo State government has called on property owners in six different government layouts in Benin City to come forward to verify and recertify their documents.
A statement signed by the Managing Director, Edo State Geographic Information Service, EDOGIS, Dr Tony Ikpasaja explained that property owners in the underlisted layouts are to comply without fail.
The affected layouts include Etete Government Layout; Iyekogba Housing Estate; Evbuoriaria Layout and Ikpoba River Dam Acquisition.
Others are Oka-Oseni/Egba/Okanaruovia and Evbuodia Acquisition.
The statement also added that
property owners and corporate organisations with the old Certificate of Occupancy, C of O, are encouraged to come forward for the new digital C of O.
The statement clarified that the verification and recertification exercise will commence on Thursday, May 1 and end on Friday, May 30.
According to him, the exercise will hold at EDOGIS Office, Plot 102, Sapele Road, Benin City, Edo State.
