In a heartfelt message of hope and unity, Aare Tolu Bankole, the National Working Committee, NWC, member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and National Leader of Persons with Disabilities, PWDs, has extended Easter greetings to Christians across Nigeria and the world.

In his statement, Bankole highlighted the profound significance of the Easter season, drawing inspiration from the biblical message in Luke 24:6-7, which recounts the resurrection of Jesus Christ. “Easter is a celebration of Christ’s victory over death and the triumph of hope over despair”, Bankole stated. “It reminds us of the power of renewal, sacrifice, and unwavering faith in God’s promises”.

Bankole also emphasized the importance of embodying the values of love, compassion, and selflessness, especially in a time when national unity is vital. He urged Nigerians to reflect on their shared humanity and commit to living in peace with one another. “In the spirit of Easter, let us work towards building a more united and prosperous nation”, he said.

This year’s Easter, Bankole noted, coincides with a period of significant progress under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The administration is focused on repositioning Nigeria’s economy and improving the lives of citizens through key policies, including interventions in agriculture, MSMEs, infrastructure, education, and social investment. Bankole reaffirmed the APC’s commitment to President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, expressing confidence that these initiatives will bring about improved living standards and opportunities for all Nigerians.

As the nation celebrates Easter, Bankole called for continued support for the government’s efforts, believing that they will ultimately lead to lasting prosperity and development.

“May this Easter bring peace to our hearts, unity to our nation, and renewed hope for a greater Nigeria”, Bankole concluded.
