Delta State Commissioner for Works (Highways and Urban Roads), Mr Reuben Izeze has announced the commencement of 2025 bursary for 220 indigenes of Ughievwen Kingdom in Ughelli South Local Government Area.
The 2025 edition of Izeze Bursary Scheme, underscores the commissioner’s continued commitment to educational support, with expanded number of slots for deserving indigenous students from Ughievwen Kingdom.
Announcing this year’s disbursement yesterday on behalf of the principal of the scheme, Secretary of Izeze Bursary Board, Tisha Matthew said this year’s edition would accommodate 220 students, marking a 10 percent increase from the previous year.
The bursary is open to Ughievwen indigenes currently in higher institutions of learning.
However, applicants must be in their second year (200 level or ND II) and above, and maintain a GPA/CGPA of at least 2.5.
Applicants are required to print, complete the form and submit it along with a copy of their school ID card and local government of origin certificate by either scanning or snapping the documents and sending them to any of the contacts listed.
