Hon. Chidi Nwogu, former member of the House of Representatives for Nkwerre/Isu & Nwangele Federal Constituency, has joined well-meaning Imolites, personalities, organizations, and institutions in congratulating the indefatigable Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma (Onwa), on his well-deserved recognition by Vanguard Newspapers as the “Infrastructure Governor of the Year.”
In a statement made available to the press on Thursday, April 10, 2025, in Abuja, Hon. Nwogu praised the governor’s unwavering commitment to infrastructural development in the state. He noted:
“Over the past years, Governor Uzodimma has continued to shine like the northern star, remaining steadfast and focused on delivering quality and standard infrastructure across Imo State. His administration’s prioritization of critical road infrastructure, particularly the connections between the major towns of Owerri, Orlu, and Okigwe, is commendable.”
Hon. Nwogu further highlighted the governor’s efforts in opening up the state’s agrarian regions by extending road networks to rural communities across various local government areas.
He concluded with prayers for continued divine guidance and strength for Governor Uzodimma to sustain and surpass his current strides, ensuring greater dividends of democracy for all Imolites before the end of his tenure.
