Lagos State government has inaugurated its first medical syringe manufacturing facility, O-Care Disposable Syringes to strengthen healthcare delivery.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, during the inauguration, reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to support initiatives that promote industrialisation and economic growth through strategic investments in infrastructure, power supply and policy reforms.
The facility established by Transgreen Nigeria Limited and located at Odofin Park Estate, Ijesha, Apapa-Oshodi, Lagos, has a daily production capacity of 750,000 syringes, significantly reducing the nation’s reliance on imports and ensuring a steady supply of essential health care products.
