Two members of the House of Representatives have again defected from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
The two members are Hon Adamu Tanko, a member representing Suleja, Gurara and Tafa Federal Constituency of Niger State in the House and Hon Jallo Husseini Mohammed a member representing Igabi Federal Constituency of Kaduna State.
In a letter announcing their defection to the APC which was read on the floor of the House by the Speaker, House of Representatives, Hon Tajudeen Abas, the two lawmakers cited division in their former party as the reasons for their defection.
The defected members in their defection letters also said their political ideologies have aligned with that of the APC.
It would be recalled that since the inauguration of the 10th House of Representatives over ten members have defected from other Political parties to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
