Popular media personality Nedu Wazobia has firmly denied recent allegations linking him to drug trafficking and fraudulent activities.
These accusations surfaced after social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, shared a leaked audio clip purportedly implicating Nedu in illicit dealings across South Africa, Morocco, and Turkey.
In response, Nedu took to his Instagram story to address the claims, stating, “Hello everyone, this is not a joke anymore. I know nothing about that voice note going around. I did not make that voice note. While this seems to be fun and games, I’ve never and will never be part of anything criminal.”
The controversy escalated when VeryDarkMan submitted petitions to the embassies of Turkey, South Africa, and Morocco in Nigeria, urging investigations into the alleged activities.
Nedu has since served a defamation notice to VeryDarkMan, demanding N500 million in compensation for the damaging allegations.
