Classroom Collapse: Hospital Discharges Four Yobe Students

Principal of the Government Girls Science and Technical College, Potiskum, Yobe State, Hajiya Adama Abdulkarim has confirmed that four students who survived the classroom collapse  had been discharged from the hospital. 

Mrs Adama said the structure, an old building, collapsed on the student while waiting to be addressed by the ABU Alumni team.

“I want to use this opportunity to inform you that, the four surviving students have been discharged.  I equally thanked the emergency response team and other organisations, individuals who played parts in the rescue efforts of my students”, the Principal said.

She added that some of the students who were injured by the collapse building were still receiving treatment in the hospital”.
