Nollywood actor and comedian Charles Okocha, popularly known as Igwe 2Pac, recently recounted a harrowing experience where he survived being shot six times.

In a candid interview on the show ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask,’ Okocha revealed that one of the bullets entered his stomach and exited through the other side. Displaying his scars, he emphasized, “I want the whole wide world to see my scars. Six shots.”

The incident occurred in December 2015 in Asaba, Delta State, when a drunk policeman lost control of his rifle, leading to multiple shots being fired. Tragically, a bystander who was set to marry in three days lost his life, while Okocha sustained critical injuries.

Reflecting on the event, he expressed gratitude for his survival, attributing it to divine intervention.

This near-death experience has profoundly impacted Okocha’s outlook on life. He now approaches each day with renewed appreciation, acknowledging the fragility of existence and the importance of resilience in the face of adversity.
