Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State on Tuesday apprehended a fake lawyer, Olubuwe Ossai Silas, who claimed to be Barrister Simon Sabuke.
It was gathered that Silas was caught transplanting a lawyer’s seal on a document and preparing legal documents using lawyers names.
The NBA Chairman in the local government, Edmund Odohisi reported the incident at Ovwian Police Station, where Silas is currently being held.
The Divisional Police Officer, DPO, has assured that the case would be thoroughly investigated and used as a deterrent to others who engage in similar acts.
