Hajj 2025: FCT Pilgrims To Pay Over N8.4m — Board

Intending pilgrims for this year Hajj from the Federal Capital Territory are to pay the sum of Eight Million, Four Hundred and fifty seven thousand, six hundred and eighty five naira, fifty nine Kobo as fare for spiritual exercise.

This is contained in a statement issued today in Abuja by the FCT Muslim Pligrims Welfare Board which was signed by it’s Public Relations Officer, Muhammad Lawal.

Lawal disclosed that the intending pligrims that have made deposits before now are expected to balance their payment before 30th January in other be part of this year’s religious journey.

The image maker of the board also said that prospective intending pilgrims can also make full payment before the deadline to book for a seat for the 2025 Hajj exercise.

Lawal explained that all payment to the board must be via a bank draft as no cash transaction would be entertained.

He added that all payments for the Hajj exercise are to be concluded before the deadline to enable the Board to compile the actual list of Intending Pilgrims for the exercise this year and to remit all funds to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

He stated that the Board has initiated negotiations with service providers in Saudi Arabia for the provision of Feeding and a befitting accommodation in Makkah during this year’s Hajj.

Lawal noted that the negotiation is inline with the desire of the Board to render the best services to FCT contingent to this year’s hajj in accordance with the New Hope Agenda of the present Administration.
