The Commissioner of Police, Baba Azare, made the disclosure during his maiden press briefing at Ikot Akpanabia, Uyo, yesterday.

Azare said  the suspects drained the transformer oil valued at N800,000 and took away armoured cables worth N3.5 million.

He noted that during his first official visit to Governor Umo Eno, the governor decried  rising cases of vandalism of public assets in the state.
