As part of his commitments in ensuring dividends of democracy spread to his constituency, Hon.Jibrin Ndagi Babbah, representing the people of Lavun Local government area in the state house of assembly has embarked on monitoring of projects in his constituencies.
Jibrin Ndagi Babbah, who was the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly during the 9th assembly, said politics is all about give and take which every politician worth his salt should be seen doing by providing social amenities to electorates to better their wellbeing.
The member representing Lavun Local Government on the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, further stated that representing people at any level of governance is a task that must be cherished by every politician devoid of any sentiment.
Projects inspected include water, electrification, drilling of borehole and installation of water.
Ndagi Babbah also visited Gbangbagi electrification project the contract which was awarded by the immediate past administration in 2016 has not been completed due to damages of two poles at the sub-station while cutting the branch of a tree, in addition to leakage of transformer oil.
According to the member at Gbangbagi, “I can only be able to provide the two poles and fix back the aluminium cables and promise to ensure that the contractor restore the transformer oil to enable the community enjoy electricity.
Also at Jinchita and Kochitagi community,Ndagi Babbah commission’s electrification project to the community in his appreciation to the people of the community for their support,he also donated a brand-new generator to the Tsadu Nkochi Central Mosque, to facilitate their worship.
The member, however disclosed that he is not bothered about series of request either financially or provision of social amenities As he is always moved to do more.
Ndagi Babbah also During the inspection of the projects, paid a condolence visits to some of the constituents members who lost their loved ones. at Bida,Giwa, Babbah, Ninwoye and Kutigi, communities.
