Egyptian and African champions, Al Ahly, are reportedly keen on acquiring Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho, currently with Spanish side Sevilla.
Iheanacho has faced challenges breaking into Sevilla’s starting lineup. Despite impressing with 3 goals in 2 Copa del Rey matches, he has struggled to establish himself as a regular in the team.
Multiple European clubs have expressed interest in the forward, and Al Ahly sees him as a strong potential replacement for Percy Tau, who is set to depart the club.
