CIPSMN Urges Nigerian To Support President Tinubu Reforms Initiatives

Chattered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria CIPSMN has called on Nigerians to take advantage of the economic initiates and poverty eradication programmes of the President Bola Tinubu-led administration to turn things around for the country.

The Register of institute Prof Mohamed Aliyu while speaking at the 2024 Annual General Meeting AGM of institute on Monday in Abuja describing them as a critical step toward building enduring national wealth and prosperity for all Nigerians.

He expressed faith with the administration’s reform-driven approach to governance to navigate the present economic challenges.

According to him,  our economy is in transformation stage with new policies and procedure implemented by the government of the day.

“It is our hope that this will translate into positive environment economic growth and sustainable development and thus, the need to give support to the current administration President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, in his reform initiatives towards delivering on campaign promises to and making life livable.

“The Procurement and Supply Chain Management profession is in a state of development in Nigeria, and will continue to evolve until it has found its proper level and mode of operation within an organisation and that government at all levels as well as, top government officials will comprehend this critically the importance of this function. 

“It is a dynamic field of endeavour that, will continue to develop as it is far from maturity in Nigeria.

“The business world is awash with the talk of global best practices, and that is where the Institute objective lies, despite the various challenges posed we remain an excellence reference point committed to the goal of maintaining our leadership position in supply chain management and continue in human capital development in Nigeria through, better strategy and sustainable growth for the country”.

In his addressed the President of CIPSMN Alhaji Sikiru Balogun called on members to take advantage of Nigeria space procurement professional to change inactive to proactive members.

“I stand before you to advice that in the Nigeria space Procurement Professionals need to change from her reactive position to proactive one, as a major stakeholder in our National Economic Growth and Development by participating in budget planning in our various organizations.

“Let us heed to this advice for the betterment of our country and our profession “Procurement and Supply Chain Management”, he advised.
