Town Hall Meeting: Presidency Assures Commitment To Citizens’ Needs

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, yesterday reiterated the efforts of his administration in making life more bearable for the citizens’ of this country.

The President while speaking through his Personal Assistant on Constituency Affairs, Alhaja Kareem Khadijat Omotayo at the Town Hall meeting with Presidency held at the Local Government Service Commission Hall, Abere, Osogbo, Osun State capital said, he would continue to be committed by working tirelessly in addressing the issues that matter most to every Nigerians.

According to Alhaja Omotayo, “Mr President administration is dedicated to transparency, accountability, and responsiveness to the peoples needs.

“We recognize the unique challenges facing Osun state, from infrastructure development to economic empowerment.

“Mr President goals is to create a brighter future for the good people of Osun state, where every citizen has access to quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.

“To achieve this vision, we will work closely with local stakeholders, community leaders, and civil society organizations.

“All our discussion here will be communicated to Mr President with immediate actions and to assure you that your voice will be heard

“We will cultivate trust by being transparent, responsive, and accountable to your needs”, she concluded.

While speaking, the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke who was represented by his Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, appreciated the Presidency for organizing the town hall meeting in collaboration with the state government. 

Governor Adeleke said, the meeting was a signal that Mr President really values collective leadership for the delivery of democratic dividends in Nigeria.

According to the Governor, “We commend the President for sending his envoy to interact with Osun people. Our policy from the beginning is that of partnership and collaboration with the centre without political colouration. We believe development transcends political division.

“What is happening today is therefore in line with our philosophy and perspectives. We see this avenue as a productive way to drive national development.

“We have listened to our people. They have talked about the needs for respect for democratic rules and practices. Our people here have canvassed the need for rule of law and the support for people focussed governance.

“Our people also appreciate Mr President for the palliatives. Our government distributed the palliatives and also expanded the content and reach. 

“Our people support the president’s reform efforts. The president has our support in the drive to rebuild the national economy”, Governor Adeleke concluded.
