Governing party in Anambra State All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has won all chairmanship and councillorship seats across the 21 local government areas in the September 28 polls.
Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission Commission’s Chairman, Genevieve Osakwe, announced the results late yesterday, at the headquarters of the commission, Awka.
She described the election as “fairest”, adding that the commission carefully collated and analysed the results to ensure accuracy”.
The chairman lauded security agencies for maintaining peace and order throughout the process.
