Yobe: Will No Longer Deduct 2.5% of Workers’ – HoS

HASSAN JIRGI, DAMATURU.

The Yobe State Head of Civil Service Alhaji Muhammad B. Nura has confirmed that the state government will no longer deduct 2.5% of the basic salary of any worker for the Education Recovery Appeal Fund billed to be deducted in November, 2021 salary.

Nura who was reacting to the proposed one month deduction said government has now resolved that workers are at liberty to contribute to the fund willingly.

He called on the people, especially the civil servants to understand the reason behind constitution of the appeal fund by contributing generously for better result.

He also urged people of the state mostly civil savants to continue giving their support and cooperation to the governor Mai Mala Buni for the better future of the state in general.
