Yobe State House of Assembly is set to hold a zonal public hearing on a bill for a law to provide compulsory premarital hemoglobin genotype test and viral hepatitis.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Chairman of the ad-hoc committee on the bill, Kachalla Maina, and made available to AljazirahNigeria in Damaturu.
According to the statement, the public hearing for Yobe North Senatorial Zone will hold on Thursday, June 19 at Umar Suleiman College of Education, Gashua by 11am.
While on Monday, June 23, the committee will hold a public hearing for Yobe South at the College of Administration and Management Technology, Potiskum at 11am.
The committee will also hold a public hearing for Yobe East on Wednesday, June 25 at Shehu Sule College of Nursing Sciences Damaturu by 11am.
