Edo State governor, Monday Okpebholo said his administration is utilising the increased resources from the Federal Account Allocation Committee, FAAC, to develop the state for the benefit of residents.
He stated this in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Fred Itua, during the inspection of ongoing road rehabilitation projects in Benin metropolis, on Saturday.
The governor, who assured Edo people of transparency and accountability, said his administration would be judicious in the use of revenues accruing to the state to improve the quality of life.
The governor expressed satisfaction with the pace of work.
Some of the sites visited were Evbukhu, Ogheghe, Old Sapele Road, Catholic Charismatic Way, Upper Ekenhuan Road, Ugbiyoko, amongst others.
