The Super Eagles Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr has vowed not to be carried away by the dilemma of Libya when they met at the ongoing 2019 African Cup of Nation’s Qualifier AFCON, inside Akwa Ibom International stadium Uyo.

Libya will be without Coach Adel Amrouche a few days ago quit over unpaid salaries which many believed will be an added advantage to Super Eagles but Rohr insisted the Eagles will not be concerned with the internal problems of the North Africans when the eagles square it out with the group leader the game billed for Saturday 13th in Akwa Ibom state.

According to him, we won’t be carried away by their problems.

“These things happen in football. We just want to remain focused because our target is to get the three points on Saturday before we start thinking of the next game on Tuesday.”

Meanwhile, the Eagles’ midfielder John Ogu, has vowed that the team will beat Libya both home and away to get their 2019 AFCON ticket in Cameroon

“We know we have two difficult games against a good Libyan side, which are top of the group, but we are looking forward to them. We will start by giving all we have so to win the two games against them.

“But all I know is that we are going to get our six points to seal the qualification for the 2019 AFCON in Cameroon.”

Libya is top of Group E with four points from two matches, South Africa are second also on four points, while Nigeria is third having recorded three points.
