In the wake of 2Baba’s recent divorce announcement from his wife, Annie Idibia, social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, has issued a stern warning to media personality Toke Makinwa.
He cautioned that she would be held responsible if any harm befalls the renowned singer.
VeryDarkMan’s warning comes after Makinwa publicly criticized 2Baba for disclosing private marital issues, labeling his actions as insensitive.
In response, VeryDarkMan defended the singer, suggesting that Nigerian women, including Makinwa, have unfairly targeted 2Baba.
He emphasized that if anything adverse happens to the artist, Makinwa would be held accountable.
This exchange has ignited a heated debate on social media, with users expressing diverse opinions on the responsibilities of public figures when discussing personal matters.
While some support Makinwa’s stance on maintaining privacy, others align with VeryDarkMan’s defense of 2Baba, highlighting the complexities involved in public discussions of personal relationships.
