Union To Hold One Million Women Rally For Governor Matawalle

Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle has again received the founder of the Gamjin Gusau Mobilization Forum, Hajiya Hafsat Khadi Ibrahim Ruwandorowa and her over 5,550 members who now promised to mobilize support for the governor while rejecting their former godfather, Dauda Lawal Dare.

Governor Bello Matawalle who was visibly happy over the act said his government is particularly in dire need of the support of youth in the state who form the backbone in the drive to transform Zamfara to an enviable position.

He assured to stand by his oath of office to carry everyone along in meeting the yearnings of the people of the state irrespective of their political party leanings towards a greater Zamfara.

While using the event to urge politicians in the state to play politics without bitterness, the governor noted that he has continued to establish a political level playing ground for the peace, stability and growth of the state so as to ensure a better future for the youth.

He commended leader of the leader of the forum, Hajiya Hafsat Khadi Ibrahim Ruwandorowa and her members for taking the bold step towards the unity of the APC and assured that they will be fully involved in all the party’s activities and as members with equal opportunities.

The Matawallen Maradun said his Administration will continue to support women, to improve women folk, involve women in decision making in addition to appointing them to various political positions.Earlier, leader of the forum, Hajiya Hafsat Khadi Ibrahim Ruwandorowa said she is leading over 5,550 members across the 14 local government areas of the state to declare their unflinching support to Governor Matawalle and his administration in the state.

Hajiya Hafsat who renamed her forum from Gamjin Gusau Mobilization Forum to Hafsat Khadi Foundation in support of Matawallen Maradun promised that her members will work assidously to return Matawalle to exhalted state’s seat in 2023.

She said arrangements have been concluded by her organization to conduct one million women rally in support of Governor Bello Matawalle in Gusau, the state capital.

The occasion which took place at the Government House, Gusau was attended by the Speaker Zamfara state House of Assembly Alhaji Nasiru Magarya, Chief of Staff Government House Malam Suleiman Ibrahim, State Head of service Alhaji Kabiru Muhammad Gayari, Commissioners of finance and special Duties Alhaji Sufiyanu Bashir Yuguda and Alhaji Abdul Aziz Ahmed Nahuche and other senior Government official.
