Worried about the state of the nation, the former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo along with the former National Security Adviser, General Aliyu Gusau had a closed door meeting with the two Niger State born former heads of state; General Ibrahim Babangida and General Abdulsalami Abubakar yesterday in Minna the Niger State capitalÂ
The meeting according to a source may not be unconnected with pressing national issues that bordered on the current economic challenges.
AljazirahNigeria gathered that Obasanjo who flew in from Benin City, where he attended the 90th birthday of the Esama of Benin Kingdom, Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, immediately headed to the hilltop residence of general Babangida.
It was gathered that former National Security Adviser ,NSA, General Aliyu Gusau (retd), was also among those in the meeting.
The four elder statesmen were in a closed-door meeting for about an hour.
Though, the gathering of the past leaders have left observers with speculation as they didn’t attend to newsmen or send out a press release.
