Stakeholders Tip Wadada As Best Man To Represent Nasarawa West In 2023

Ahead of the 2023 general elections in the country,the election of Hon. Ahmed Aliyu Wadada a two term former member of the House of Representatives to represent the Nasarawa West constituency in the senate has been described as the surest way of guaranteeing the people of the zone the access to reap the dividends of democracy in proper term.

The immediate past Secretary to the Nasarawa State Government, Alhaji Aliyu Tijjani, made the assertion during the ground launching of the Wadada the Frontiers; a group prosecuting the realization of Hon. Wadada for the senate come 2023 in Keffi, Monday.

The former secretary who expressed the confidence that Hon. Wadada has all the political capacities and wherewithal to give to the people of the zone the desired and effective representations in the red Chambers given his cognate legislative experiences, great passion to serve the people as well as his caring and trustworthy.

He called on the people of the zone not to hesitate to give him their trust to represent them.

“Given the capacities and wherewithal of Hon. Wadada as well as his great passion, competence and good leadership posture among other attributes of a good leader, which he possesses, the people of Nasarawa West Zone should have no option than to give their trust to him so as to access the dividends of democracy in proper perspectives”, the former SSG stated.

He further contended that it was only through the election of Wadada that the people of the zone would be able to get what other people are getting on other parts of the country from their senators such as Sokoto, Kano, Kebbi, Kwara and other states, saying that the people of Nasarawa West are not witnessing any change in returns to their support which they gave to the present occupant of the seat.

Tijani who commended the Wadada Frontiers for what he described as their bold steps toward the project expressed the optimism that the ends would justify the means as such he assured them of their full support and cooperation so as to make the people reap the dividends of democracy in a proper perspective.

“We have the confidence that this project would come up with all the flying colours at the end of the day as such we would collectively work together so as to make us reach the promised land for the betterment of our people”, he stressed.

In his remarks at the occasion, the grand patron of the group and a Former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Nasarawa State, Barr. Tanimu Adapson, stated that the movement was a moving train that has no reverse gear as such all its members should endeavour to exhibit the highest degree of sincerity and commitments so as to make their ambition a realizable one. 

Earlier on, in his opening speech, the chairman of the group, Mallam Hamish Sabo Abdulmumini, assured that they would pursue their movement with an outmost sincerity and commitments as well as solicited for the support and cooperation from the people of the zone to enable them get a better and people’s oriented representations that would guarantee them the opportunities to reap the dividends of democracy in proper perspectives 

Also making their contributions the executive chairmen of Keffi and Karu local government areas respectively Hon. Mohammed Baba Adamu and Hon. James Thomas described the clarion call on Wadada to come and make himself available for the senate as truly in view of his good leadership qualities and experiences.

They described the overwhelming support as a great turning point towards ensuring that the people of the Nasarawa West Senatorial Zone get the best in terms of representations in the upper legislative chambers.

In his response, Hon. Ahmed Aliyu Wadada expressed surprise about the movement (Frontiers) saying that he was not aware of their intention, but he would oblige to their request as regards the contest in 2023, thanking them of the gesture.
