Grammy-winning singer Roberta Flack, best known for hits like Killing Me Softly with His Song and The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, has passed away at the age of 88.

The music icon, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2022, died peacefully on February 24, 2025.

Flack’s career spanned decades, earning her multiple Grammy Awards, including back-to-back Record of the Year wins.
