The unfortunate situation has led to the young lads sleeping under trees while waiting for the organizers to sort out the accommodation for them.

Speaking with our correspondent one of the state officials who obviously did not want his name on print lamented the condition the young athletes have been made to face in the name of participating in a tournament.

The official stated further that since their arrival they have been sleeping under the trees as the university where they normally camp is still been inhabited by the students who are still in session.

“I want to tell you that since we have been coming for this youth games this is the worst we have experienced. No proper arrangement by the organizers and the young girls and boys may be exposed to malaria as a result of mosquito bites.
