Seyi Tinubu, Politician and son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has announced the appointment of Comrade Ayeni Yinka Dallas as the Chairman of the Seyi Tinubu Youth Empowerment and Student Engagement Committee.
The announcement was made at a gathering of Nigerian youth and student stakeholders from all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), yesterday in Abuja. Â
According to a press statement obtained by AljazirahNigeria correspondent, Seyi Tinubu while speaking at the event, praised Yinka Dallas for his commitment to youth development and his leadership qualities.
Comrade Yinka Dallas has consistently demonstrated a passion for youth empowerment and student engagement. His track record as a former Chairman of Ekiti Local Government in Kwara State speaks volumes about his dedication to service and his ability to inspire positive change,” Seyi said.
Seyi further expressed confidence in Dallas’s ability to lead the committee effectively, adding that the initiative aims to create impactful opportunities for Nigerian youth.
“This committee will serve as a platform to amplify the voices of our youth and provide them with the tools they need to thrive. I trust Yinka Dallas to drive this vision forward.”
In his acceptance speech, Yinka Dallas expressed gratitude for the appointment and reiterated his commitment to empowering Nigerian youth. “I am deeply honored by this opportunity to serve.
Youth empowerment and student engagement are critical to the progress of our nation, and I am ready to work tirelessly to ensure we achieve meaningful results,” he said.
Dallas also acknowledged the significance of the initiative and called on young Nigerians to actively participate in programs that aim to address their challenges and aspirations.
