Sallah: Beneficiaries Laud UAE, Helpline Initiative’s Donations

Women, vulnerable people and individuals living with disabilities in the FCT have lauded the generous meat donations by the UAE Embassy in Nigeria in partnership with Helpline Social Support Initiative, during this year’s Eid celebration. 

Founder, Helpline Social Support Initiative, Dr Jumai Ahmadu, thanked the UAE Embassy for its kindness and dedication in making a positive impact in our community, adding that the gesture demonstrates its commitment to community support through spreading of joy and compassion to those in need. 

She commended the UAE Embassy in Nigeria for identifying with Helpline and 

said this is the third year it is supporting the needy in Abuja and its environs, adding that it is an opportunity and occasion to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged especially women

She called on other organisations to go beyond funfairs that characterise every festivity and use such occasions to empower the vulnerable in the society.
