Soon after Nigeria joined the rest of the world to commemorate the annual World AIDS Day on December 1, Professor Benjamin Amodu, a leading researcher and Professor of Phytomedicine from the Triune Biblical University, USA, has revealed that preliminary clinical tests have shown his HIV/AIDS vaccine have over 90% per cent efficacy.
He said as a result, a prominent Nigerian university is currently evaluating the vaccine and cure for the dreaded HIV/AIDS.
“As god would have it, I began my research work while I was still serving as the head of the pharmacy department, at the State House Clinic, Dodan Barrack, Lagos and it lead me to discover cures for various forms of cancer, malaria, chronic kidney disease, heart disease, diabetes, asthma and even COVID-19 f or which I informed the federal government of my cure but even after all the processes including making every necessary payment, we are still waiting for the government to conduct clinical trials.
“So I can boldly tell you that we currently have a vaccine and cure for HIV/AIDS. For instance, I got a message as I woke up in the middle of the night from one of my patients that, apart from his viral load becoming zero, his CD4 count, which is always a problem in treating HIV, had risen to 850. Meanwhile, according to the World Health Organisation, WHO, as soon as the CD4 count reaches from 500 to 1,500, the person is good to go, so what are we talking about?
“Our medications were gotten scientifically, not passed on to anyone of us from our parents or fore parents; they were done scientifically and the proofs are there. We tested it using the laboratory of a top class university in Northern Nigeria. We bought the animals, did all the required experiments.
“We gave five laboratory rats our vaccines which is in capsule form but did not give the other five and left them to be observed. We then introduced live HIV viruses into all of them. Those we didn’t give the vaccine to all died even before we concluded the research, while none of those that were given the vaccines died. Upon testing them, it was discovered that HIV did not penetrate their system. What do you think that means?
“Currently, that same institution is evaluating our discovery and conducting the tests afresh. The world shall soon be informed of this discovery.
“My joy is that patients across the world have been contacting us for various ailments and almost all of them have positive testimonies which is available for everyone to see on our social media handles.
Professor Amodu then called on the government to look inwards so that these discoveries can be supported and publicised so Nigeria can earn a lot from medical tourism, thereby boosting the economy of the country.
