Gada Police Division has arrested a suspect and recovered a large quantity of vandalised aluminum conductor wires, following a patrol operation on May 26.
At about 10pm on May 26, the police recovered a Golf vehicle.
The suspect, Bello Namakkah, 45-year-old male, is a resident of Illela town.
The statement by the Police Public Relations Officer DSP Ahmad Rufa’i said significant quantity of aluminum conductor wires suspected to be stolen public infrastructure were recovered from the suspect.
Abu Sabo, who is an accomplice, male resident of Illela town, is at large and being actively pursued.
Namakkah has been charged with criminal conspiracy, mischief, and theft, while the police are working to apprehend Sabo and bring him to justice.
