Ahead of the February 22 local government election in Osun State, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Chairmanship Candidate for Irewole North East Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Wasinmi in Ikire, Hon Kolawole Safiriyu Akinpelu, yesterday, reiterated his continuous efforts in transforming the entire area beyond expectation.
Hon Akinpelu made this known while answering questions from our Correspondent during a telephone chart.
According to Hon Akinpelu, “I promise that immediately I assume the office, I am going to work towards the betterment and uplift of all and sundry by making sure that dividends of democracy get to the doorstep of the entire residents.
“In order to avert epidemic in the council area, there is going to be provision of drinkable water in every nook and cranny of the council, opening and rehabilitation of roads to enable our famers transport their farm products to the main town while supply of farm imputes to farmers would also be my priority.
“I am not making mouth as I have been put to test before and we can all see the little we were able to do then, so by the time we assumed the office, there is going to be better life for every residents of the LCDA and we shall not deny you your entitlement because “what is good for the goose is also good for the gander”, they say.
Hon Akinpelu, who described the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as the only political party that can liberate the people by making life more bearable for them admonished every residents of Irewole North East LCDA, Wasinmi Ikire to troop out enmasse during the forthcoming local government election in the state and cast their votes for him saying he would not let them down.
Hon Akinpelu used the medium to appreciate Almighty Allah, every leaders and members of the PDP in the area, the Senate Deputy Minority Leader, High Chief, Senator Lere Oyewumi, the traditional rulers, youths, among others for their unalloyed and unflinching support to him.
