As the clock ticks for the super 8 volleyball cracker in Lagos, the sport secretary of NCS, Samuel Onikeku, has revealed that the team will not leave any stone unturned to ensure success when the event will start in March.

Speaking on Monday when his female team crippled Osun Pearls 24-06 at the ongoing Mark D Basketball female Championship in Abuja, he expressed that the team, both male and female will be ready before the competition proper.

According to him, “we have already beefed up our team for super 8 that will take place in Lagos, come March.

“Our team, both male and female, will be ready, we have done some changes, and some re-organization, because the female team have gotten to the semi-final, the next thing for us to do is to get to the final; we are not supposed to come down.

“So, we are preparing well, by next week, I believe we should start to open camping before we finally do close camping for the super 8.”
