The President of the University of Nigeria Alumni Association Abuja Branch – UNAA Abuja Dim Emeka Obasi have Extolled the Sterling Qualities of Mr Shamsedeen Babatunde Ogunjimi FCA on his Recent Appointment as The Accountant General of the Federation, Describing him as a Round Peg in a Round Hole.
Dim Obasi made this Assertion when he recently led a Delegation of Exco, Elders and Members of the Alumni Association on a Courtesy Call to the Nation’s Chief Treasury Officer, Speaking Further, Obasi Charged the AGF to Restore the Dignity of Man in the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation as well as Implored him to also use his Good Office to Support their Alma Mata, The University of Nigeria.
In His Response Mr Shamsedeen Babatunde Ogunjimi FCA the Accountant General of the Federation who also is an Alumnus of the University of Nigeria thanked the Delegation Profusely for the Visit and Promised to always Support Developmental Causes in the University as he remained Proud of the Contributions the University Made towards His Successful Career.
A Former Alumni President of UNAA Abuja Rtd Compol Dr Chris Atugokoh ALOHA and the Branch Vice President Dr Monica Agu also took turns to Congratulate the AGF on his Appointment.
The Highlight of the Visitation was the Decoration of the AGF with a Medal of Honour for his Dedicated Service to the Nation by the UNAA Abuja Branch President as well as the Recitation of the Alumni Song by all Members of the Delegation
