Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki has approved the payment of gratuities to pensioners on the payroll of the Local Government Staff Pension Board who retired in 2010.
In a notice signed by the Acting Secretary of Local Government Staff Pension, Mary Arewa, government invited the pensioners for a screening exercise scheduled to be hold from Monday, August 26 to Friday, August 30 from 8am-4pm daily at the Local Government Staff Pension Board, Pension House, Kings Square, Benin City.
“The Notice of Screening Exercise for Pensioners on the Payroll of the Local Government Staff Pension Board who retired in 2010 stated that the pensioners are expected to present their letter of retirement, pensioner biometrics, pension identity card and pay advice.
According to the notice, “I am directed to inform you that the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has graciously approved the payment of gratuities to pensioners on the payroll of the Local Government Staff Pension Board who retired in 2010.”
