Hon. Dr Joshua Audu Gana, Member of the House of Representatives representing Lavun, Mokwa, and Edati Federal Constituency of Niger State, said no nation can develop without collective responsibility of all the stakeholders.
Nigeria is our country and we must strive hard to salvage it, “The reason as representatives of people it is our responsibilities to pursue with vigour by exercising our oversight functions to our people to restore the desired development, peace and unity”.
Joshua who gave an insight of his presentation at the floor of the National Assembly told Journalist in MINNA, that it is time for the stakeholders to shift from primordial ideology to deliver a comprehensive contribution on nation building.
According to him, Nation building is the cornerstone of achieving a stable, prosperous, and healthy society through good governance, economic development, and social cohesion.
Joshua who is the eldest son of former Minister of Information and National Orientation, Professor Jerry Gana, said Nation building is crucial and stake holders should be on top of the situation devoid of any sentiment as we “are created to live together by God”.
“Nation building is crucial and a task for all of us, to enhance country’s growth in fostering national unity, economic emancipation, social stability, and security, adding that nation building is a collective responsibility that requires sacrifices from all and sundry.
According to him his presentation before my colleagues, demonstrates the lawmaker’s commitment and dedication to contributing to Nigeria’s transformation into an egalitarian society with opportunities for all citizens.
“We have prioritize nation building of our dear country that all Nigerians will be proud of, inline with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic transformation agenda to overcome the challenges in achieving sustainable development of the Nation”.
“In my constituency, Lavun Edati and Mokwa, I will continue to strive hard to perform my oversight functions in the provision of socal amenities like ,water, electricity, women and youth empowerment”
“I have been having a sleepless night on how to ensure that my people are relieved of their numerous predicaments due to economic hardships, even though Rome is not built in a day modalities will be put in place to make them self sustenance, Gana re-emphasised”.
The lawmaker, however, consoled the Deputy Governor, Yakubu Garba over the death of his wife, Hajiya Zainab Garba, prayed Allah to grant her Aljena fildaus and give him the courage to bear the irreparable loss.
