 Niger APC Gov Candidate Flags Off Zone C Campaign

 Gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Niger State, Umar Mohammed Bago flagged off his campaign yesterday at Kontagora Niger North senatorial Zone promised to be prudent on the state resources. 

 Bago who addressed the Mamoth crowd at the Bako Kontagora memorial Stadium pledged to complete all the developmental projects initiated by his predecessor across the state and open opportunities to better the well-being of Nigerlites.

 He assured the people that he will not reneged on all his campaign promises if eleccted March 2023, and urged the people to be in possession of their permanent voters card; the only instrument to elect credible leaders.

The APC gubernotorial candidate added that the principle of his administration would be based on maximizing the state resources by building on legacies of his predecessors.

According to Bago, “My administration would specifically focus on addressing youth restiveness through empowerment and quality education to make them relevant in the society.

Speaking earlier, the North-Central Zonal Vice Chairman of the party, Mu’azu Bawa said he has received 4,780 decampees from various political parties.

He said 87 of the decampees were officials of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), adding that 261 were women 173 men from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).

Bawa said the APC is the only political party that will create enabling environment for citizens to enable them excel in their various political endeavors.
