Acting National Chairman of the Labour Party, Sen. Nenadi Usman , former Executive Secretary of Nigerian Electricity Regulation Commission, NERC, Dr. Sam Amadi , National Coordinator of the Obedient Movement, Dr Yunusa Tanko among others have described former presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 general election, Mr. Peter Obi as a voice and driver for a New Nigeria.
Speaking , in their separate speeches , at a book presentation in Abuja in honour of Mr. Peter Obi titled ” Obi the Political Change agent”, Sen. Usman who commended the author of the book Ike Abonyi said the book was a reminder of Obi’s active patriotism participation .
She urged political leaders and Nigerians to draw inspiration from Mr Peter Obi’s meticulous leadership and uncompromising values.
The labour party chieftain added that the obidient movement championed by Mr Peter Obi was an emblem of youth political awareness .
In his speech, Dr Sam Amadi argued that Mr Obi possesses the right pedigree to lead Nigerian revolution for a rebirth, adding that the country needs his expertise to reset the economy.
Earlier, the national Coordinator of the Obidient movement, Dr. Yunusa Tanko has called on Nigerians to join the Obidient movement to build a New Nigeria.
