In a surprising turn of events, popular On-Air Personality (OAP) Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, better known as Nedu, has announced his departure from ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast.

This decision comes on the heels of allegations made by social media critic Martins Ortse, aka VeryDarkMan, who accused Nedu of soliciting intimate favours in exchange for movie roles from a female content creator named Jojo.

In his official statement, Nedu expressed that the past week’s events had been overwhelming, leading him to step back to preserve his peace of mind, family, and the integrity of the show.

He emphasized that while hosting the podcast had been an incredible journey, the recent scrutiny and unfounded accusations had taken a personal toll.

Jojo, the content creator at the center of the controversy, has denied any inappropriate interactions with Nedu, stating that she has “never had anything to do with Nedu.”

Despite this, Nedu has chosen to step away, hoping that his decision will bring an end to the negativity surrounding his name and allow ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast to continue thriving.
