Nigerian media personality Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu, has addressed rumors regarding his exit from ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast.
Contrary to circulating reports, Nedu clarified that he was not dismissed from the show but chose to step down due to personal attacks stemming from recent controversies.
In a press conference, Nedu stated, “Let me straighten something out, I was not fired from ‘The Honest Bunch.’ I decided to step away when the attacks became very personal so that the show can go on.”
The controversy began after an episode featuring reality TV star Deeone, who alleged that social media critic VeryDarkMan was attracted to men. This led to significant backlash, during which Nedu faced unfounded accusations affecting his peace of mind and family.
Emphasizing his role on the podcast, he mentioned, “My job on the podcast was to play the devil’s advocate.”
