Nasarawa West APC Campaign DG Boasts Of Victory Over Opposition Parties

By David Christopher, Lafia

Hon. Joseph Kaura, the Director General, campaign council for the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa West Senatorial District Architect Shehu Tukur, has said that his team is well prepared to crush anybody who would want to distort their strategies of ensuring that their candidate becomes senator of the federal republic in the next dispensation.

Kaura who was a former chairman of Karu Local Government Area of the state made the assertion while speaking with journalists shortly after he inaugurated the Arc. Shehu Tukur campaign council  in Keffi the headquarters of the senatorial district on Sunday.

He said even before the inauguration, his team has been working assiduously to achieve success, despite the awaiting Supreme Court pre-election judgment between his candidate and another, Barrister Labaran Shuaibu Magaji.

“You are fully aware that APC has a flagbearer for Nasarawa West senatorial district at the INEC Potter in the person of Architect Shehu Tukur; wether there is a court case or not, we cannot seat down and relax without campaigning. We have the flag and we are flying it while waiting for the Supreme Court judgment.

“In my capacity as the DG of this campaign, I want to tell you that none of the candidates of the other political parties vying for this position with our candidate can stand on our way to Senate come next dispensation, “the campaign DG said.

Answering a question as regards APC members engaging in anti-party activities within the state and  Nasarawa West Zone, Kaura said,”You see, the truth of the matter is that in politics after primary elections there are bound to be issues in all political parties; not only in APC and that is what gave us the confidence to flag off our campaign, because we are resolving our political party issues internally”.
