Following the official announcement of his appointment as the Honourable Minister of Youth, Federal Ministry of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, yesterday at his office, said it is his primary goal to diligently improve and expand his services to benefit the youths of the nation.
In a statement issued weekend in Abuja by the Director Information and Public Relations Omolara Esan Honorable Minister, Olawande seized the opportunity to express his profound commitment to serving the nation’s youths on a greater level of dedication.
He urged the Nigerian youths to prioritize abiding by the law and to refrain from engaging in detrimental activities. He called for their active participation in addressing the various challenges that the Nigerian youths face, emphasizing the importance of aligning their efforts with the President’s agenda to build a more conducive environment and ensure prosperity for all.
The Minister articulated his vision to enhance existing initiatives and introduce new policies aimed at tackling the pervasive issue of youth unemployment.
Comrade Ayodele Olawande also assured that comprehensive policies will be implemented to address the needs of the youth, and innovative strategies will be developed to create substantial job opportunities, thereby empowering the youth for sustainable socio-economic development.
The then Minister of State for Youth Development, has now been appointed as the substantive Minister of Youth Development.
The decision was officially announced by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday, 23rd October ,2024 following the Federal Executive Council meeting held at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
